I see.

Did you look to the existing API?

I think Firefox add-on Teampass-Connect is what you expect.

It is still a beta version but starts to have nice features.

Could be done, but I need to know how it works.

What do you suggest here?

To be sure if I've well understood.

Consider:

  • The ability to define a password on a Folder (Locked folder)
  • All Items and Sub-Folders below this Locked Folder would not be accessible without this password

What are the limitations?

  • Can the Folders / Items labels be visible by users without the Locked Folder password?
  • Should those Files / Folders be in the results of a search?
  • Should only the details of an Item be restricted by the Locked Folder password?
  • Should every Files / Folders below it be non visible unless the Locked Folder password is given?

I think that this is partially taken into consideration.

When a user sees the password, it is logged in the database.

So using the "Views" page, it is possible to do some searches.

Nevertheless it could be improved based upon your requests and needs.

You are free to use this post to list in details what are the points that could be implemented to permit a better follow-up.

Today, notification exists and also warnings.

I think that what is missing is a view permitting to list access by users.

Your ideas?
